Do you want to build a snowman?!?

Brrrr! I think of snow this time of year! Don't we all love to play outside in the snow and build amazing snowmen and have snowball fights? The idea for this blog post was inspired by having fun out in the snow and a great template exists on Pinterest (see below for the link).

What you will need:
1. Cut out of a snowman
2. A variety of buttons
3. Snowman hats with numbers 1-10
4. A cookie sheet is recommended to keep all of the items contained.

How it works:
1. Have the student color the snowman's face
2. For each numbered hat, that is the number of buttons that the snowman needs
3. You can start in order 1, 2, 3, 4.....etc
4. As your student improves, mix up the numbers!

Adorable counting snowman game! Helps with number recognition and counting. Another goodie from contrib @Jen | Mama.Papa.Bubba..

To encourage balance with this activity, cut a pool noodle in half and have students stand on the noodle while they complete the activity.

Keep moving and stay warm!
