Reindeer Games

This is a magical time of year! The kids are excited and this is the time of year that makes outdoor recess a challenge. My love of gonoodle.com is never ending! There are many wonderful games, indoor recess activities, and movement activities to fight the winter rut!

I used to work with an exceptional P.E. teacher and during this time of year the theme was always Reindeer Games. There were relays and movement stations that corresponded to each reindeer. The kids loved it!

In the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to share an activity that combines both of these wonderful ideas. Gonoodle has a Reindeer Hokey Pokey that is sure to fill your classroom with magic! I love this game because it promotes body awareness, motor planning, direction following, and lots of fun.
